未标题-2

Under the national strategy of promoting rural revitalization and green agricultural development, the Nanda Planting Base in Qiantang District, Hangzhou, is becoming a striking example of modern agriculture through its unique ecological circular model. Built with dedication by Nanda, the base represents the company’s successful extension of its deep expertise in ecological environmental management into modern agricultural production.

1. Base Overview

An Eco-Friendly Strawberry Garden on the Outskirts of the City640 (2)

Located in Qiantang District, Hangzhou, the Nanda Planting Base covers an area of 5 mu (approximately 0.33 hectares). It serves not only as a production site for high-quality strawberries but also as a modern agricultural showcase integrating technology verification, ecological demonstration, and educational outreach. Leveraging Nanda’s R&D background, the base deeply integrates environmental protection technologies into agricultural production, focusing on the use of self-developed organic fertilizers to cultivate premium strawberries. It vividly embodies the sustainable development philosophy of “turning waste into treasure and coexisting in a circular system.”

2. Core Technology

Green Power from Waste Conversion640

The base’s core competitive advantage lies in its unique fertilizer source — liquid biofertilizer produced from urban and rural easily degradable waste through high-tech processing. This innovative technology, developed in strategic collaboration with the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, aims to promote low-carbon, harmless treatment and resource recycling of rural household waste.

Technical Principle
Using Nanda’s proprietary microbial technology, collected kitchen and easily degradable waste undergoes 24-hour aerobic degradation at ambient temperature. This process achieves a Waste Reduction rate of over 90%, effectively cutting carbon emissions from waste transport at the source.

Application of Byproducts
The resulting liquid resource is nutrient-rich biofertilizer suitable for crop irrigation and fertigation systems. Meanwhile, some of the solid byproducts, after further treatment, can be transformed into high-quality green cultivation substrates. Studies have shown that applying these organic fertilizers and substrates can comprehensively improve soil from physical, chemical, and biological aspects, enhancing water and nutrient retention and biological activity, thereby creating a healthy growth environment for crops.

3. Strawberry Cultivation

Dual Enhancement of Quality and Yield640 (3)

At the Nanda Planting Base, the power of technology directly translates into strawberry quality. The base employs fertilizers and substrates derived from waste resource conversion throughout its cultivation process.

Product Features

  • Rich in nutrients, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and enhancing efficiency

  • Improves crop resilience and resistance to pests and diseases, enhancing fruit quality

  • Improves soil structure, forming granular aggregates that enhance water and nutrient retention

Quality Advantages
Practice shows that strawberries grown in this green cultivation substrate have significant quality benefits. Fruit sweetness can increase by 0.5%-0.62%, flavor is improved, and nitrate content is effectively reduced by 30-45 mg/kg, ensuring higher food safety.

Yield Assurance
A healthy soil environment and adequate nutrient supply ensure robust strawberry growth. Compared with traditional cultivation methods, ecological circular planting can increase yield by 97.2–150 kg per mu, especially during peak market seasons like the Spring Festival, providing a stable supply of high-quality fruit and significant economic benefits.

4. Vision and Mission

Contributions Beyond Cultivation640 (6)

01 Supporting the “Dual Carbon” Goals
The base model enables local resource recycling of waste, avoiding long-distance transportation and incineration or landfilling. This innovative practice contributes to carbon reduction and sequestration in agriculture and rural areas, aligning closely with China’s “Agriculture and Rural Carbon Reduction and Sequestration Implementation Plan.”

02 Exploring Circular Agriculture
Through localized resource recycling, the base minimizes carbon emissions and promotes sustainable agricultural practices, showcasing a replicable model for ecological circular farming.

03 Promoting Industrial Integration
As a key component of Nanda’s “Organic Solid Waste Low-Carbon Ecological Treatment Demonstration Base,” the base achieves an organic integration of environmental protection and modern agriculture, serving as a vivid example of technology supporting agriculture and industry contributing back to ecology.

The 5-mu planting base is both a microcosm and a flagbearer, marking Nanda’s transition from pure environmental management to a broader “environment + agriculture” integrated service model. Here, formerly discarded waste is given new life, nurturing safer and tastier produce. In the future, Nanda Planting Base will continue to deepen industry-academia-research cooperation, optimize technological models, and contribute further to food safety, rural environmental improvement, and green, low-carbon agricultural development.
